Whether you are a student or student group, China Memory Book Network and Chi Heng Foundation welcome your help. Contact us or one of our partners!

Today, China is a rising superpower, a country experiencing vast economic growth and modernization. Less visible is the growing civil society throughout China and the work of NGO’s and charities helping the most vulnerable excluded from the spotlight.

Indeed, the HIV/AIDS outbreak in rural Central China is a ‘’closed problem’’. The ravaged villages are isolated from the rest of the world and while a limited number of NGO’s operate in the area thanks to donor support, few channels are in place for more direct forms of help.

To open up the closed problems of HIV/AIDS in Central China, China Memory Book Network invites interested students to volunteer.

Application for Internship with Chi Heng Foundation.

We are all students who have helped out! You can too!

What does it take to volunteer in the field of HIV/AIDS in Central China?

Interest in China and in HIV/AIDS – the work will be demanding, but it can be equally rewarding.

Leadership – you may be in charge of new and ongoing projects

Independence – you are often left to structure your own volunteer experience

Resourcefulness – from funding to last-minute advice, you need to find the help necessary to complete your work
